Al Mar Maintenance Group started operations in 1976. It is a minority, woman-owned, family business. In 1996, Mrs. Rhody Acevedo took control of Al Mar and led it to become one of the top 100 Hispanic companies. Her philosophy was that Al Mar should have excellent service, be a respected member of the business community, provide jobs now and in the future, and make sure its employees are respected in the workplace. In August of 2000, Ms. Neyra Acevedo took over as company president after Mrs. Acevedo lost her valiant battle against breast cancer. Mrs. Rhody Acevedo was posthumously honored with Arlington Hispanic Chamber's Entrepreneur of the Year award in October 2000.
Al Mar headquarters is in Arlington, Texas. We provide our service through Dallas/Fort Worth. We cater to all of our client's requests any time of the day or night, and provide the prompt service our customer need.
Al Mar's managerial strength lies in its knowledge of marketing, finance, bookkeeping and sales. Add to this a well-organized office staff, faxes, cellular phones, and laptop computer; keeping each member in touch with Al Mar's customers anywhere in the United States. |
